Izumi, although the course was recently renovated by Lee Schmidt. At one time, not too long ago, the Canyon Course at Blue Canyon Country Club was considered the best course in Phuket, but over the past few years, a new contender has come into the fold. The Red Mountain Golf Club, located in Kathu next to Loch Palm, is now considered the best course in Phuket by many, although the argument is still ongoing.

Red Mountain is the island’s newest Championship course, first opened in 2007 with almost 10 years now under its belt to mature and grow into its surroundings.
