I wake up a little late on holiday mornings 😅 but sometimes it's good to be active early. On one such day, I went to Holey Mothership Bakery in Krung Thep Maha Nakhon (Bangkok) to have my breakfast for the first time in a while 😉
It is one of Bangkok's best sources for freshly made bread, all kinds of sandwiches, pastries, cakes, chocolates, homemade ice creams, and a selection of freshly brewed coffee and fine teas 🤤 You can sit and enjoy the excellent food and friendly atmosphere or take home something delicious from Holey Mothership Bakery in the capital 🥪
So this time, let me introduce you to Phra Khanong's bakery cafe, "Holey Mothership" 😎
This is a golden age for bakery lovers ❤️ New shops are gradually opening every week, and the quality of the pastries is getting better and better.
Suppose breakfast is the most important meal of the day; in that case, it’s lucky that Krung Thep Maha Nakhon (Bangkok) is endowed with countless spots 🤗 From cafes and coffee shops to local streets for vendors serving up top-notch ways to kick off your morning in the best way possible.
Holey Mothership is an essential bakery and cafe in the alley of Phra Khanong Road (Sukhumvit Soi 71) 😍 It is one of the ultimate neighborhood cafes, with everything perfectly complementing each other to create a place of culinary and mental comfort, seemingly without effort 🤩
It is a sister store of Holey Artisan Bakery in Prompon and has a large bread studio 🤗 The nearest station is BTS Phra Khanong, but it takes about 18 minutes on foot 😁 I think it's a reasonable distance for a walk in the morning, but if you don't want to get sweaty, you can take a motor rhino 💕
The large, round windows at the storefront of Holey Mothership Bakery act like a sneak peek channel for anyone wondering what's inside 🤩 It's also nice to take a photo at the check-in before entering the shop 📷
The interior is decorated in bright orange tones to have fun 🧡 The bread-baking kitchen and the deliciousness occupy more than half the space.
On the right side are seats and a coffee bar for those who come alone or like to sit quietly observing the inside of the shop 🥰
I invite you to walk and look at the daily bread at the transparent glass counter. Today, there are more than ten types to choose from, and they are primarily Italian-style bread 🤤
Plus, there's the bread that is Vegan Friendly as well 😎 The store inside is directly connected to the bread studio, so the smell of bread surrounds it ❤️
There is a bakery and cafe space inside the Holey Mothership store 🤩 Bread ranges from meal to sweet, and there are also sweets such as muffins, cakes, and cookies. Bread is also available for home delivery services and various delivery apps 💕
Various menus, such as hot sandwiches 🥪 and toast, can be made on the spot. So you can order multiple dishes according to your needs, such as morning, noon, and cafe time. My favorite dishes are English sausage rolls, mini croissants, and an iced latte for breakfast from the bread displayed in the showcase 🤤
There were two types of mini croissants: one with the grain in the photo on the surface and the other with powdered sugar 🤤 This is light and crispy and is perfect for a person in terms of size. You can eat it after a deeply seasoned sausage roll to make the sweetness even more pronounced and delicious 🤤 The shop uses only the best Thai and foreign ingredients. But when it's about butter, they use only real butter imported from France 😎
For something a bit heavier, you'll want to order the Marcolino, halved baguette stuffed with mixed vegetables, sun-dried tomatoes, provolone cheese, speckled ham, coppa ham, smoked ham, pickled peppers, mayonnaise, olive oil, and edge balsamic tight machine - just one piece. It will fill you up all day.
If possible, come early in the morning 🌞 when the store has just opened. You may have the pleasure of savoring a croissant or loaf of bread that has just been freshly baked and served right at your table 🍞
The breakfast in the store, where you can enjoy the scent of freshly baked bread, is full of happiness! 🤩
Try the whole wheat Sourdough; it's yummy and wonderful 🥰 They make fantastic sandwiches when toasted or grilled. Also, they have one of the best cakes you can get in Krung Thep Maha Nakhon (Bangkok) for parties. They sell whole cakes or individual Party Cake squares. Oh yum! 🤤
The bread lineup and menu are almost the same as the main store 🤩 The glittering bread that spreads in front of you, and the spacious, comfortable interior is perfect for a refreshing morning. There are also cookies and muffins, so it is recommended for breakfast and light tea! 🌮
What does Mothership mean? 🤔 Well, I thought about it, but I couldn't find a compelling answer, and I think it probably means something like a manufacturing base. Well, I'm not sure! They're just great! ❤️
Holey Mothership Bakery is the main branch of Holey Artisan, which has been expanded from Soi Sukhumvit 31 and Soi Suanplu to become a central kitchen showing every baking step. It is open for you to see every production stage, and the large kitchen is lavish as it is delivered to other shops. You can always smell the bakery's aroma with great treats and yummy food.
