It’s been days, and we have almost entirely enjoyed the busy nightlife of the whole Pattaya area, especially Walking Street. We decided to move to a quieter place. Where do you think that would be?

As you see, it is excellent to get around when you stay in the Pattaya area for prolonged holiday periods. And see some sights and sounds that make the Eastern Seaboard one of the most fun and welcoming places to visit in Thailand. Many regions and areas within a short drive to Pattaya are worth discovering. Ban Amphur and Bangsaray are just two of them. 

So, we decided to visit Ban Amphur. Come and join us!

Ban Amphur has a peaceful environment, clean beaches with soft sand, and a Yacht club. The sea-view restaurants are perfect for dinner with friends and family.

Getting Away from Pattaya

Although Pattaya is a fun-filled town, it only makes sense to get away from the cacophony of bars and nightlife, even only for a few hours. Areas surrounding Pattaya are where you need to see Lake Mabprachan, Bang Saen, Ban Amphur, Jomtien, and Bangsaray. 

If you want to immerse yourself in some refreshing Thai countryside with beautiful beaches and quality tourist attractions, we recommend Bangsaray and Ban Amphur.

Ban Amphur

Although Ban Amphur is such a quiet place, it is still a lovely place to visit and home to a few beaches and some incredible Pattaya restaurants. 

You will find the stylish Ocean Marina Yacht Club in Ban Amphur and the beautiful and famous Ban Amphur Beach nearby.

Like any beaches along the Gulf to the east of Pattaya, they are much cleaner than in the city. If you are looking for a spot of quality Thai seafood with sea views, restaurants such as Preecha Seafood and Je Tium Seafood are highly recommended and nearby. 

Ban Amphur is also home to one of the best golf courses in the Pattaya region, the Phoenix Gold Golf & Country Club. It is perhaps the third-best golf club in the area after Siam Country Club and Laem Chabang. Ban Amphur is peaceful and just a 10-minute drive along Sukhumvit Road east of Pattaya City.
