This Fortune Town IT Mall is located on the 2nd-4th floor of the Fortune Town Building. Fortune Town is conveniently located adjacent to the Phra Ram 9 MRT Station and is connected to the Hotel Grand Mercure Bangkok Fortune. This makes it easily accessible to individuals traveling from different areas of the city. For those unfamiliar with the area, Rama IX Road, Ratchada Road, and Central Plaza Grand Rama 9 Shopping Mall can serve as valuable landmarks for locating the mall.
The Fortune Town IT Mall and shops are generally open daily from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm. It is the Pantip Plaza alternative, but whereas Pantip is busy and obnoxious, Fortune Town is less active and does not have people waving DVDs in your face. It's more civilized. It has not only phones, cameras, and computers but also many pirated software shops, printing shops, second-hand hi-fi shops, and musical instrument shops. It's a bit of an Aladdin's Cave.
The IT Mall comprises dozens of small shops selling a wide variety of technical gear, from components to laptops to digital cameras and all sorts of other gadgets.
People go to Fortune Town mainly for computer equipment from the IT mall. Several specialist IT stores and an IT City are like an IT supermarkets selling most IT peripherals used by small businesses and home users.
Many shops sell laptops, desktop PCs, monitors, external hard drives, etc. Also, on the IT theme, many pirated software stores sell pirated DVDs and CDs full of hacked and cracked software from the likes of Microsoft, Adobe, Macromedia, and many others.
A few reputable camera stores sell popular point-and-shoot and more expensive enthusiast cameras from Nikon and Canon. They also sell camera accessories such as tripods, bags, and lenses.
Fortune Town is decent in terms of camera shops, but it is not as good as MBK (Ma Boon Khrong) Center, so if you are after more professional equipment and top-of-the-range cameras, go to MBK first.

But the mobile phone section is packed with people, and the stall owners are often rude. So, if you want to shop without a crowd, this is the best place.
Here, you will find the best shops for decent second-hand hi-fi separates such as amplifiers, CD players, speakers, and turn tables.
No shops are selling new Hi-Fi units, but the second-hand goods they sell seem to be in good condition, and they present everything well and keep it looking good, so it's well worth a look.

An easy-to-locate restaurant, Anotai is one of the best in town. The restaurant is strictly vegetarian and cooks all its delicious dishes from the ingredients grown on their organic farm.
Though the restaurant serves Thai cuisine, one can find a variety of international dishes cooked and seasoned the Thai way.
Fatty’s Bar & Diner is a relaxed hangout where most locals and tourists grab a drink and some quick eats for pocket-friendly prices.
The peaceful ambiance and live music nights are as much of a draw for the young crowds as the delicious diner food served here.
