A part of the Grande Center Point Sukhumvit, Terminal 21 Bangkok features an exterior adorned with glass and steel doors, indicating an airport of the 21st century. This theme proceeds to be broadened and conducted to the inside of the building.
Upon entering the building, you'll notice floor signs that serve as guides, signaling the various destinations and specific cities. There is also an overlapping escalator network; electronic boards show the information you usually see at the airports. In addition, an airport-styled reception desk with uniform staff is also a fascinating point for the airport theme here. All of them build a unique shopping experience at Terminal 21 Bangkok.
The 9 floors of Terminal 21 Bangkok accommodate over 600 stores, a cineplex, a supermarket, and a food court with various Thai foods. All of the food here will make you hungry. The basement is under the theme of the Caribbean Sea, where you will discover a Gourmet Market, takeaway food stalls, food stalls under market style, and restaurants and bookstores.
Furthermore, you can go up to the first floor by the escalator from the ground floor. Therefore, it gives a sense you are in Rome, featuring a diverse array of local and global fashion labels such as Kipling, Fox, CC: OO, Nike, Jaspal, Adidas, Levi’s, and numerous others.
Paris is located on the M floor and will take you to the Champs-Elysees, where many prominent fashion brands are waiting for you to explore. From 1 to 3 floors, they are the home of many smaller shops of local fashion brands.
On the first floor (Tokyo), you'll discover a selection of women's fashion. In contrast, the second floor (London) hosts a range of men's clothing. Going up to the third floor (Istanbul), you'll encounter a variety of items, including gifts, jewelry, fashion accessories, toys, gems, beauty products, and home decor. This floor, reminiscent of a Middle Eastern souk, blends traditional charm and modern comfort.
For a truly distinctive experience, the fourth and fifth floors of Terminal 21 Bangkok are designated as San Francisco. Here, you'll encounter an array of more than 50 dining locations and cafes that are sure to delight your tastebuds.
Terminal 21 is an exciting shopping and dining experience in Krung Thep Maha Nakhon (Bangkok). It has a particular interest for the younger shoppers, mainly university students and young ages. The diversity is good, and the price tag is even better.
Bangkok’s Terminal 21’s every floor has a different theme. They are patterned to famous terminals around the world. And they were prepared by the cities of London, Tokyo, Istanbul, etc.
When I first visited the mall, I admired how they built the complex to give a unique experience to every floor. Besides the shopping area, you shouldn’t miss the themed bathrooms too! They stand out because you’d want to stay inside these water closets longer.
There are around 600 shops that sell different items. The Tokyo floor sells mostly clothes for women, and the London floor offers menswear. Other floors have gift shops and specialty items, making it easier for you to shop. The designer outlets are located on the lower ground floors, so if you want to go through the merchandise from famous brands, you can go to the lower floors.
Numerous choices are available for you, and the stores maintain a clean and modern appearance. Despite the confined space of each stall, the overall ambiance resembles that of a prominent boutique. The items are less costly than you might think when you buy them from a mall. Since this is in Bangkok, it is determined that shirts and dresses are good quality but are relatively inexpensive.
Food shops and other high-end restaurants are on the 4th and 5th floors. Still, if you’re on a budget, you can go to Pier 21 (their food court) and select from various Thai and Asian cuisines. Prices can compete with the food sold on the street.
From dim sum to baked seafood, you can find everything here—from Hainanese chicken rice to flavorful Thai pad, roasted chicken noodles, and vegetarian food. Remember to eat desserts here; there are soft mangoes, ice cream, and many different dishes.
You will get free WiFi inside the mall by asking one of the staff at the Information Desk for a password. You have to present your passport to them and will be given logins to connect wirelessly. The login is suitable for a year.
The powerful signals are located at the Pier 21 food court. They also have electrical outlets available. It's just perfect if you want to stay longer. Discover a spot to plug your device, and you have an instant office inside the mall.
Concluding this daily stylish lifestyle encounter, Terminal 21 is equipped with an 8-screen Cineplex situated on the 8th floor.
Two of these cinemas offer 3D digital screens, enhancing the movie-viewing experience. Additionally, you'll find a Fitness First Gym on the same floor.
